b'day celebration at Sunday School

Today, everyone from the youth went to help out at the Sunday School at my church..

we are scheduled to help out once every 3 months at Sunday school, on that day we will be leading songs, story telling and doing some art work..

i am in charged of leading songs with my partner sheng yuan,now only i realize i dun really noe how to talk in front of small kids..haha.
when i ask question, no one answer me.
am i too fierce till they are afraid of me or there's a big communication gap between generations?haha
after tat, it was story telling time.after my teacher finished her story telling, it's our turn to act based on the story. today's story was about 祷告的手。it's about Moses raising his hand to pray to God while Joshua and his army faught with the Amorites. As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel would win, but as soon as he put his hands down, the Amalekites would start to win.
i was Hur. So basically wat i do was to help holding Moses' hand up.haha..

then they go do some art work. time to let the girls take over..girls are better in these stuffs..haha

modern version of the ants and grasshoppers

Modern Version

An ant worked hard in the sweltering heat all summer, building its
nest and laying up supplies for the winter.

A grasshopper thought the ant was stupid not knowing how to enjoy
life. It spent its days laughing, singing & dancing thoroughly
enjoying the summer.

Came winter, the shivering grasshopper called a press conference and
demanded to know why the ant should be warm and well fed while he was
cold and starving.

TV1, TV2 & TV3 showed up to provide pictures of the shivering
grasshopper alongside to a video clip of the ant in his comfortable
home with a table full of food.

The majority of the Malaysian Parliamentarians were stunned by the
sharp contrast.. How could this poor grasshopper be allowed to suffer?

Khairy staged a demonstration in front of the ant's nest.

Nazri went on a hunger strike along with other grasshoppers demanding
that they be relocated to warmer climate area during winter.

The Malaysia Government immediately passed a law forbidding all ants
from working hard in the summer so as to bring about equality of
poverty between ants and grasshoppers.

Hishammudin increased 'More Special Reservations' for grasshoppers in
Educational Institutions & in Government Services..

The ant was fined for failing to share 30% of his food with the
grasshopper. The Prime Minister announced that this was part of the
NEP. No ant should question it.

Many years later...

Some ants migrated to the US & other countries overseas and set up
multi-billion dollar companies there.

Hundreds of grasshoppers still died of starvation despite the 'More
Special Reservations'.

Losing significant number of hard working ants and free loading the
grasshoppers, Malaysia remained a developing country and being

compared to Angola or Zimbabwe, despite its abundant natural resources.

All because the remaining ANTS were still doing their work
.............................

Latest finding showed that almost all the grasshoppers in the
political arena and civil service were hoarding corrupt wealth which
they refused to share with fellow grasshoppers.

BRGH Youth 58th Anniversary..

yesterday was my youth's anniversary..

a blind boy..

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.' There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?'
The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.'
What he had written was: 'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective? Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

around 6.30, i was already at the stallion to have farewell buffet dinner by action group to outgoing form 5 excos and members..
so here goes..
i was busy eating as we as EX EXCOS no need to pay..*winks..
so eat all we can..haha..almost vomit everything i ate..haha..
